Holborn does not open until three in the afternoon. Stratford opens at eleven in the morning. Same company, same Monday.
Holborn: Monday to Wednesday 3pm to 11.30pm.
Stratford: Monday to Wednesday 11am to 11pm.
Brick Lane: Monday to Thursday midday to midnight.
White City: Monday to Wednesday midday to 11pm.
Four hours between the earliest and the latest opening on the same weekday. Holborn is the one that catches people, because it is the most central, the easiest to walk to, and shut for the whole of a Monday lunchtime.
If you want to bowl before 3pm from Monday to Thursday, Holborn is not an option at all.
There is a fourth London branch, and it is missing from their own list
Checked on 6 October 2026, and worth knowing because it is a usable venue nobody is being pointed to.
The All Star Lanes homepage lists three London locations: Brick Lane, Holborn and Stratford.
A fourth, White City, is live and trading, with its own page, its own opening hours and the same offers as the rest. It is at Westfield London Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, W12 7FU, and its hours are Monday to Wednesday midday to 11pm, Thursday and Friday midday to midnight, Saturday 10am to midnight and Sunday 10am to 11pm.
It simply does not appear in the location list on the front of the site. So if you are in west London and were told All Star Lanes is an east and central thing, it is not.
White City also puts two bowling alleys in the same shopping centre, since Puttshack is in Westfield too.
Sunday has a ninety minute spread
The other branch difference, and it decides a Sunday night.
Brick Lane closes at midnight.
Stratford and White City close at 11pm.
Holborn closes at 10.30pm.
So the most central branch is again the most restrictive. On a Sunday, Brick Lane gives you an extra hour and a half over Holborn.
Friday and Saturday are the other way round: Brick Lane and Holborn both run to 1am, where Stratford and White City stop at midnight. Those two are inside shopping centres, which is the likely reason.
Two games for £20 on the last Friday of the month
The offer worth planning around, and it is date-specific rather than standing.
Pay Day Friday: 2 games of bowling for £20, on the last Friday of the month, plus Happy Hour drinks from 3pm.
Note the date restriction. It is not every Friday, it is one Friday in four, and the happy hour starts at 3pm, which at Holborn is the same minute the venue opens.
Running alongside it: 2 Games Offers from £15, a student offer, Drink and Bowl, and Bowling Lates.
At £15 for two games, the standing offer is better value than the monthly one. Pay Day Friday’s advantage is the happy hour attached to it, not the bowling price.
The cocktail masterclass is Holborn only
The thing Holborn has that the others do not, and it partly justifies the late opening.
A two hour cocktail masterclass for £49, including a welcome spritz, unlimited bowling and karaoke throughout the class, and learning to make two cocktails or mocktails with your own bartender and host.
Read that properly: £49 buys two hours of unlimited bowling and karaoke with drinks and tuition included. Against two games at £20 plus a round of cocktails, it is not the extravagance it looks.
It runs at Holborn, which the site states explicitly.
Six things to play, not one
All Star Lanes is sold as bowling and is not only bowling.
Bowling. Karaoke. Interactive darts. Q-Bix gamecube. Arcade games. Shuffleboard.
That makes it the broadest single-venue line-up of the London bowling operators, and it overlaps with Flight Club on darts, Boom Battle Bar on karaoke and shuffleboard, and Electric Shuffle on shuffleboard, all of which do one thing properly rather than six.
Where the four are
Brick Lane: 95 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL. Liverpool Street 13 minutes on foot, Shoreditch High Street closer.
Holborn: Victoria House, Bloomsbury Place, London WC1B 4DA. Holborn 5 to 6 minutes, on the Central and Piccadilly lines.
Stratford: Westfield Stratford City, Second Floor, London E20 1ET. Stratford 8 to 10 minutes, on the Elizabeth line and the Central line.
White City: Westfield London Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, London W12 7FU.
Note that both Westfield branches are a longer walk from the station than they sound, because the walk is through the shopping centre.
How to plan it
Before 3pm Monday to Thursday: not Holborn. Try Stratford from 11am.
Weekend morning: Stratford or White City from 10am.
Late Friday or Saturday: Brick Lane or Holborn, which run to 1am against midnight at the two Westfields.
Late Sunday: Brick Lane, at midnight, ninety minutes after Holborn.
Cheapest bowling: the standing 2 games from £15, not Pay Day Friday at £20.
Group doing something other than bowling: Holborn’s £49 masterclass includes unlimited bowling and karaoke for two hours.
West London: White City exists, whatever the homepage says.

Bowling in London compares the alleys, and Boom Battle Bar and Flight Club cover the darts and karaoke versions.
Brick Lane covers the markets around the east branch, and activities for adults covers the category.
Questions we get asked
What time does All Star Lanes open?
It varies by branch, by up to four hours. Holborn opens at 3pm Monday to Thursday. Brick Lane and White City open at midday. Stratford opens at 11am on weekdays and 10am at weekends, as does White City on Saturday and Sunday. So for a weekday lunchtime game, Holborn is not an option.
How many All Star Lanes are there in London?
Four, though the homepage only lists three. Brick Lane, Holborn and Stratford appear in the location list, and a fourth at Westfield London in White City is live with its own page and opening hours but is not shown on the front of the site.
Which All Star Lanes is open latest?
Brick Lane and Holborn both run to 1am on Friday and Saturday, where Stratford and White City close at midnight. On a Sunday it reverses: Brick Lane closes at midnight, Stratford and White City at 11pm, and Holborn earliest at 10.30pm.
What is Pay Day Friday at All Star Lanes?
Two games of bowling for £20 on the last Friday of the month, with happy hour drinks from 3pm. Note it is one Friday in four rather than every Friday, and that the standing 2 Games offer starts from £15, so Pay Day Friday's value is in the happy hour rather than the bowling price.
What else can you do at All Star Lanes besides bowling?
Karaoke, interactive darts, Q-Bix gamecube, arcade games and shuffleboard, all bookable separately. That is the broadest line-up of the London bowling operators. Holborn also runs a two hour cocktail masterclass at £49 which includes unlimited bowling and karaoke throughout the class.
