Swingers West End: The Time on Your Ticket Is Not Your Tee-Off

The booking buys a 30 minute window and the tee-off is allocated on arrival. Prices, the 5pm off-peak line, the 6pm rule for children, and why there is now only one London branch.

The time on your Swingers ticket is not the time you play. It is a 30 minute window inside which you might play.

“When you purchase your ticket you pick a time slot which is 30 minutes long. The time slot is not your playing time. You will be allocated a tee-off time on arrival. Your tee-off time could be near the beginning or end of your time slot.”

That is their own wording, and it is the single most misread thing about the venue. A 7pm ticket can mean teeing off at 7.28pm.

The lever you have is arrival. You should arrive no later than 15 minutes before your slot begins, and the earlier you arrive the better the choice of tee-off times. So a 7pm slot is worth turning up for at 6.30pm, not 6.45pm, and the difference is who gets 7.02pm and who gets 7.28pm.

You do not have to play at all

Worth knowing before you count heads, because it changes what a mixed group costs.

“Crazy golf isn’t compulsory, you can join us for street food and cocktails with no entry fee.”

So the three people in your group who do not want to putt pay nothing to come. The food is from Patty&Bun, Breddos tacos and World Famous Gordos pizza, and the bar is open to anyone who walks in.

£12 or £15, and the line is 5pm on a weekday

£12 per person off-peak, meaning weekdays before 5pm. £15 per person at peak. That is one round of crazy golf.

Food and drink packages start from £31 per person.

A £3 saving sounds small until you put six people through it. Six rounds before 5pm on a Tuesday is £72; the same six at 6pm is £90.

Monday opens two hours later than Tuesday

The hours have an odd shape that catches people out at both ends of the week.

Monday 3pm to 10.30pm.

Tuesday and Wednesday 1pm to 10.30pm.

Thursday 1pm to midnight.

Friday 1pm to 12.30am.

Saturday 10.30am to 12.30am.

Sunday 10.30am to 9pm.

Two things to take from that. Monday does not open until 3pm, so there is no off-peak Monday lunchtime at all, and the cheap window on a Monday is just 3pm to 5pm. And Sunday closes at 9pm, three and a half hours before Friday and Saturday, which makes it the shortest evening of the week despite the early start.

Saturday runs fourteen hours, from 10.30am to 12.30am. It is the only day that does.

There is only one Swingers in London now

Checked on 6 October 2026, and worth stating plainly because the opposite is still widely published.

The Swingers website lists a single London venue, headed “Our London Venue”, and every page on the site is titled Swingers West End. The City branch has no page, and its old location URL returns a not found error.

So if you have an old link, a bookmark or a recommendation for Swingers in the City near Liverpool Street, do not plan around it. Book the West End.

The company began in 2014 as a pop-up in Shoreditch, so this is the third chapter of a venue that has moved more than most.

Where it is

15 John Prince’s Street, London W1G 0AB.

Oxford Circus one minute. Bond Street five minutes.

John Prince’s Street runs north off Oxford Street behind the department stores, which makes this the most central competitive socials venue in London by a wide margin. The interior is done as a 1920s British seaside, with two 9 hole courses.

Children are allowed, but they have to be out by six

Clear rules, and the 6pm line is absolute rather than a guideline.

Under-18s and family sessions run every day before 6pm.

Last entry for under-18s is 5pm, and they must vacate the venue by 6pm.

Recommended for ages 7 and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Read that with the hours and a family visit on a Monday is a one hour window: doors at 3pm, last entry 5pm, out by 6pm. On a Saturday or Sunday it is seven and a half hours.

The family prices invert at the top tier

Three family packages, and the pattern breaks on the third.

Family Golf: £10 per child, from £12 per adult. One round, Carnival games, food and drink, reserved area.

Family Swingers Experience: £15 per child, £19 per adult. Adds 30 minutes of unlimited retro arcade play with points for prizes.

Family Full Swing: £23 per person, flat. Adds food and drink credit: one main and a drink from the kids’ menu for children, £15 toward food and drink for adults, with unused credit non-refundable.

So on the first two tiers a child is £2 to £4 cheaper than an adult. On Full Swing a child costs exactly what an adult costs, and the child’s share of it is a main and a drink against the adult’s £15 credit. For a family of two adults and two children, Full Swing is £92; the Swingers Experience is £68. The jump buys you £30 of adult credit and two kids’ meals.

And if that adult £15 is not spent, it is gone, so Full Swing only makes sense if you were going to eat anyway.

How to plan it

Arrive 30 minutes before your slot, not 15. Your ticket is a 30 minute window and the tee-off time is allocated on arrival, earliest arrivals first.

Cheapest round: a weekday before 5pm, £12 against £15.

Not playing: come anyway, free. Street food and cocktails carry no entry fee.

Bringing children: before 6pm, last entry 5pm, accompanied, ages 7 and up.

Monday: nothing before 3pm. It opens two hours later than Tuesday.

Late night: Friday or Saturday to 12.30am. Sunday shuts at 9pm.

Looking for the City branch: it is not there. One London venue, off Oxford Street.

Crazy golf is not compulsory and the bar carries no entry fee. Under 18s are admitted before 6pm only, with last entry at 5pm, accompanied, ages 7 and up. Checked 6 October 2026, the site now lists one London venue only and the City branch has no page, its old URL returning a not found error.

Where to go next

Crazy golf in London compares the courses, and Puttshack is the other big mini golf operator, with two branches and different prices at each.

Flight Club and TOCA Social are the other competitive socials, and Fitzrovia covers the streets behind Oxford Street.

Questions we get asked

How much is Swingers crazy golf?

£12 per person off-peak, which means weekdays before 5pm, and £15 per person at peak times, for one round of crazy golf. Food and drink packages start from £31 per person. Crazy golf is not compulsory and there is no entry fee to use the bar and street food.

Is the time on a Swingers booking your playing time?

No. The ticket buys a 30 minute time slot, and your tee-off time is allocated on arrival, which could fall anywhere inside that slot. Arrive no later than 15 minutes before the slot begins, and earlier if you want a choice, because the earliest arrivals get the pick of tee-off times.

Can children go to Swingers?

Yes, before 6pm. Under-18s and family sessions run every day before 6pm, with last entry at 5pm, and under-18s must leave the venue by 6pm. Crazy golf is recommended for ages 7 and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

How many Swingers are there in London?

One. Checked on 6 October 2026 the Swingers site lists a single London venue, headed Our London Venue, at 15 John Prince's Street W1G 0AB, and every page on the site is titled Swingers West End. The City branch has no page and its old location URL returns a not found error.

What are Swingers West End's opening hours?

Monday 3pm to 10.30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 1pm to 10.30pm, Thursday 1pm to midnight, Friday 1pm to 12.30am, Saturday 10.30am to 12.30am and Sunday 10.30am to 9pm. Monday opens two hours later than Tuesday, so the off-peak window that day is only 3pm to 5pm.

Which Swingers family package is best value?

The Swingers Experience at £15 per child and £19 per adult, unless you intended to eat. Full Swing is £23 flat for everyone, which is the only tier where a child costs the same as an adult, and the adult's £15 food credit is non-refundable if unused. For two adults and two children, Full Swing is £92 against £68 for the Experience.
