The infinity pool at the Pan Pacific has children’s swimming hours, and they are narrow. Monday to Friday it is 9am to 11am and 3pm to 5pm, and at weekends 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm. Outside those windows the pool is for adults. Anyone under 16 must be with an adult anywhere on the wellbeing floor, the pool included.
That is the detail that decides whether a family booking works here, and it is published on the hotel’s own family page rather than anywhere obvious. We read it on 10 October 2026.
Eating with children
Children aged 6 and under eat free from the kids’ menu at Straits Kitchen, and those aged 7 to 12 get half off the à la carte menu. The hotel is specific that neither applies to in-room dining or to afternoon tea, which are the two places people most often assume a discount will work.
A roll-out bed is free for children under 12. Booking listings say children aged 13 and over are charged as adults, so a family of teenagers costs the same as a group of adults.
A children’s spa menu
The hotel runs a Bonpoint spa menu for children aged 6 to 16 on its SENSORY wellbeing floor, which is unusual enough to note. There is also a Sleepover With Singa package at £49 plus service through in-room dining, and a Singa Cub Club with a plush toy, outfits, an activity booklet and an in-room tipi, all complimentary.
The hotel itself
It is at 80 Houndsditch, EC3A 7AB, in the City near Liverpool Street. Facilities are a 24 hour gym, spa treatment rooms and an 18.5 metre infinity pool with city views. Restaurants are Straits Kitchen and Bar and the Ginger Lily Bar and Lounge, with in-room and private dining. Pet services, branded Paws at Pan Pacific, include a pet concierge, dog walking, grooming and massages, though the hotel does not publish a size limit or fee.
Check-in is 3pm and check-out noon, and the guest checking in must be 18 or over. The rest of the policy sheet, which sits on a separate page from the hotel’s marketing, is unusually complete.
The charges worth knowing before you arrive
Vaping costs £200. The whole hotel is non-smoking, e-cigarettes and vapes included, and any evidence of a breach adds a £200 deep cleaning fee to your bill on departure. That is the steepest penalty of any London hotel we have read.
Valet parking is £85 per 24 hours in a secure car park, arranged in advance through the concierge. The hotel publishes no self-parking rate at all and refers you to the concierge for nearby car parks.
A rollaway bed is £80 per room per night, and only in Executive categories and above. An extra bed for a child under 12 is free, however, if the room type can take one, and baby cots are complimentary on request. So the cost depends entirely on the age of the child and the room you booked.
Pets, with a weight limit
One dog or cat per room, no larger than 15kg, with a £60 deep cleaning fee. Two are allowed in Premier Double Double rooms and above. There is a Paws at Pan Pacific package with pet concierge, dog walking, grooming and massages, arranged through reservations.
Cancellation
Cancel by 6pm local time the day before arrival or you are charged one night including taxes, and a no-show costs the same. Terms vary by rate, so check the specific one you book. All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card, and for pre-paid bookings the same card has to be presented at check-in, which catches out anyone booking for someone else.
The hotel accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Union Pay. It has step-free access, accessible guestrooms and restrooms, and lift access on every floor.
One caveat on the family detail above: the family page carries seasonal framing and some of the children’s offers have run as campaigns, so the swimming hours in particular are worth confirming for your dates.
