Twickenham is now called Allianz Stadium, and the domain matching that name does not belong to it.
Checked on 5 October 2026: allianzstadium.co.uk is a parked domain, held by a registrar and serving advertising links. Anyone typing the stadium’s own commercial name into an address bar lands on a page selling web hosting.
The real site is allianzstadiumtwickenham.com. The old twickenhamstadium.com still works and redirects there, so the safest route is still to search for Twickenham rather than for the sponsor.
What the tour covers
More of the building than the football grounds let you into, and one room in particular.
The Royal Box, the Players’ Tunnel, pitchside, and the England Dressing Room, which the stadium itself names as the highlight. You get the matchday preparation and routines rather than only the view.
Tours are guided throughout, with the stadium putting the emphasis on the guides rather than a handset.
The museum is included, and it is the reason to go
Every tour includes entry to the World Rugby Museum on the same site, which holds what the stadium describes as the world’s most extensive collection of rugby football memorabilia.
There is also a Play Rugby Interactive Zone with a scrum machine and a line-out jump challenge, which is the part that turns a stadium tour into something children will actually remember.
Given that the museum is bundled, the tour is better value than the equivalent football tours even before you know the price, because the football museums at Stamford Bridge and the Emirates are bundled too but considerably smaller.
The prices are not published
Worth saying plainly. Neither the stadium’s own museum and tours page nor the World Rugby Museum booking page shows a price. You have to enter the booking system before a number appears.
That puts Twickenham in the same group as TeamSport, Escape Hunt and the Royal Albert Hall: operators who will not quote until you have started buying. The football grounds publish everything, which makes the comparison harder than it should be.
The options
Stadium Tour and Museum is the standard one.
Private Tour is run for two people with a guide of your own, through the same areas.
Legends tours are available, and gift vouchers are sold for both the standard and the legend versions.
Where it is
Twickenham, in south west London, out past Richmond. It is a train journey rather than a Tube one, which is the thing to plan: this is a half day, not an hour.
Our Richmond page covers lunch on the way, and Richmond Park is the other reason to come out this far.
How to plan it
Searching for it: type Twickenham, not Allianz, because the sponsor’s domain is parked.
With children: the Play Rugby Interactive Zone is the part that justifies the trip.
Budgeting: you cannot, from the website. Start a booking to see a price.
Make a day of it, because the journey out is long enough that an hour at the ground is poor value.
