Lane7 is over-18s only after 7pm, and ID is required to get in. That is the rule that decides whether your evening works, because it applies to the whole venue rather than one room, and it falls earlier than most London bowling bars. If you are bringing children, you are booking an afternoon.
Children under 14 need constant adult supervision at any hour. One room is adults-only all day: Play Dirty, the basement arcade of eight carnival-style games, is strictly 18 plus.
Everything below comes from Lane7’s own pages, read on 10 October 2026.
Where it is, and what is in it
The London venue is in the Zig Zag Building at 70 Victoria Street, SW1E 6SQ. Alongside bowling there is 18 hole mini golf, shuffleboard, beer pong, classic and augmented darts, and back shuffle, plus the Play Dirty arcade downstairs.
Hours are midday to midnight Monday to Thursday, 11am to midnight on Friday, 10am to midnight on Saturday and midday to 11pm on Sunday. The venue warns that school and bank holidays differ.
Prices
Bowling starts from £11.50 per person. Off-peak packages run from £13 for two games, £18 for three and £21 for four, each per person. A Bowl, Drink, Game package is from £18 per person for groups of four or more. Happy hour is Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm, with two-for-one cocktails and £5 pints.
Shoes, and what you cannot wear
Bowling shoes are free to borrow in every size. You can wear your own if they are soft-soled, but open toes and heels are not allowed, which catches people out on a night out. The dress code otherwise is smart casual.
No refunds
All bookings are non-refundable. You can change a booking through the My Account section, subject to availability, but you will not get your money back, so treat the booking as final.
Groups of seven or fewer get a lane to themselves. Bigger groups are split across lanes placed together. The venue recommends booking ahead, and extra early for large groups.
On food, the kitchen handles a range of allergens and says cross-contact may occur in shared preparation and cooking areas, so tell a team member before ordering rather than relying on the menu.
