The Friends Experience in London has closed. It ended on 4 January 2026 at Immerse LDN on the ExCeL waterfront, and the only thing left on its website is a newsletter sign-up for future dates.

The site reads strangely if you land on it now, which is why people keep thinking it is still running. The banner says “Must End 4 Jan 2026” and the main paragraph invites you to celebrate Friends in London one more time before it ends on the 4th January 2026, a date that passed nine months ago. Above both sits a button marked “Sign up for future dates”, and the newsletter box offers to tell you when you can next step inside the world of Friends. Tickets and Plan Your Visit links are still in the menu.

What it was

It billed itself as the UK flagship of the Friends Experience and ran as “The One in London”. You walked through recreated sets: the fountain, the purple door of Rachel and Monica’s apartment, the foosball table at Joey and Chandler’s, and the Central Perk couch. Phoebe’s New York cab was there, as was the 18 page letter, displayed front and back. Two activations were made for London, called “London, baby!” and Friends Station, the latter being a photo spot with coffee and snacks, next to a retail store.

One detail worth noting if you are comparing reviews: the 4.6 Google rating shown on the London page is marked with an asterisk explaining that it is based on the Paris location, not this one.

What is at that venue now

Immerse LDN, the space at the ExCeL waterfront in the Royal Docks, carried on with other shows. House of Dreamers opened there in the summer of 2026 and runs to late November on the venue’s own listing. So the building is still worth checking, even though this particular show has gone.

House of Dreamers is at the same venue, and ExCeL London covers the site around it.

The Van Gogh exhibition and KidZania are two more London attractions that have closed, and Frameless is still running.
