The big Banksy exhibition in London has finished. On the organisers’ own website, the London listing is stamped “Finished”, and so is the Sydney one beside it.
The show was Banksy Limitless, at Sussex Mansions, 79 to 85 Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, and it opened in September 2025. It was produced and promoted by the team at Fever, and nothing on the organisers’ site says the artist took part, which is worth knowing before you search for a replacement.
If you are looking for tickets, there are none. This page explains what the show was and what to do instead.
What it was
The organisers described it as “an immersive gallery experience” with 250 artworks, multiple installations and a visit time of more than 80 minutes. Tickets started at £20, and the venue was wheelchair accessible.
The show was refreshed partway through its run as Banksy Limitless: Reframed, with over 30 new additions including a Dismaland Gallery, the Monkey Queen, Falling Angel and Stop Esso murals, and the Grappling Hook sculpture.
The named rooms and pieces: an Infinity Room full of mirrors, murals including seven that Banksy made in war-torn Ukraine, installations such as Cinderella’s Carriage and the Shoreditch rat, and the Louise Michel room, inspired by the 30-metre French Navy boat Banksy decorated in response to the crisis in the Mediterranean.
There was also a live add-on: Mr. Punch’s Day Off, a puppet show in the Dismaland Theatre, on Saturdays 11:00 to 19:00 and Sundays 11:00 to 18:00.
Many of the works were reproductions made for the show, which the organisers said openly: “Plus, exclusive pieces reproduced just for this show.” That is the honest framing of every exhibition of this type, and the reason a ticket cost £20 rather than the price of an original.
Where to see real Banksy instead
The thing a replica cannot give you is the street work, which is the whole point of the artist, and that is free.
Street work is in constant flux, since pieces get painted over, protected behind perspex, or removed. A piece described in an old guide may be gone, so check recent photographs before making a special trip.
For original art in a gallery setting, our guides to London’s art galleries and free museums cover the major collections, many of which cost nothing.
Other immersive shows to try
Frameless is the nearest equivalent in format, an immersive digital art venue at Marble Arch. The Paradox Museum in Knightsbridge is a short trip from the old Old Brompton Road site, and Outernet London is free.
How to plan it
Banksy Limitless in London has finished. The organisers mark it so.
It was a commercial immersive show, with many reproduced pieces, and the organisers do not say the artist took part.
For real Banksy, look for street work, and check recent photographs, since pieces disappear.
For something similar in format, try Frameless.

Questions we get asked
Is the Banksy exhibition still on in London?
No. Banksy Limitless, at Sussex Mansions on Old Brompton Road in South Kensington, has finished, and the organisers' own website marks the London show as Finished. It opened in September 2025 and was refreshed partway through as Banksy Limitless: Reframed. No return has been announced.
Was Banksy Limitless made by Banksy?
It was a commercial immersive exhibition produced and promoted by the team behind the Fever shows, combining installations, murals and pieces the organisers say were reproduced just for the show. Nothing on the organisers' site says the artist took part, and a ticket from £20 reflects that it was not a gallery of originals.
What was in Banksy Limitless?
Around 250 artworks across several rooms, including an Infinity Room of mirrors, murals including seven Banksy made in Ukraine, Cinderella's Carriage, the Shoreditch rat and a room inspired by the Louise Michel boat. The Reframed version added over 30 pieces including a Dismaland Gallery, the Monkey Queen, Falling Angel, Stop Esso murals and the Grappling Hook sculpture. A puppet show, Mr. Punch's Day Off, ran at weekends as an add-on.
Where can I see real Banksy art in London?
On the street, which is free but unreliable, because pieces are painted over, protected behind perspex or removed. Check recent photographs before making a special trip. For original art in galleries, the free national museums and galleries are the best route.
