Mrs Doubtfire is not in London. The West End production closed at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 26 April 2025 after two years, and the show is now on its first UK and Ireland tour, which runs to at least October 2027 without a single London date on it.
That is worth saying plainly, because the show still sells well on searches for London, and the tour’s own listing includes a venue called the Lyceum, which is in Sheffield rather than on Wellington Street.
Where it actually is
The tour dates on the production’s own site, read on 10 October 2026, are Newcastle Theatre Royal to 11 October 2026, Theatre Royal Plymouth from 20 October to 7 November, Leeds Grand Theatre from 10 to 29 November, and the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin from 2 December to 3 January 2027.
Then it runs King’s Theatre Glasgow from 12 to 31 January 2027, Mayflower Theatre Southampton through February, Liverpool Empire from 2 to 21 March, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff from 23 March to 11 April, Nottingham Theatre Royal from 27 April to 16 May, the Lyceum in Sheffield from 18 May to 6 June, Milton Keynes Theatre from 8 to 27 June, His Majesty’s in Aberdeen from 30 June to 18 July, the Marlowe in Canterbury from 27 July to 15 August and Blackpool Winter Gardens from 17 August to 5 September.
The last entry, Wolverhampton Grand, is listed as Friday 1 to Sunday 17 October with no year printed. The dates fall correctly for 2027, but the site does not say so.
One other discrepancy: the Plymouth run ends on 7 November on the production’s own site, while some press listings say 8 November. Book from the theatre, not the write-up.
The nearest it gets to London
Milton Keynes in June 2027 and Canterbury in July are the closest stops, both reachable as a day trip. Neither is in London, and no London return has been announced. The producers say more venues and dates will follow, so a London date is possible later, but nothing exists now.

Gabriel Vick plays Daniel Hillard, reprising the role from the original London company, with Kara Lily Hayworth as Miranda, Aaliya Mai as Lydia and Ryan Pidgen as Frank.
