Cé La Vi says it is open “12pm till late daily” and leaves it there. No closing time, no dress code, no age policy and no booking terms appear anywhere on its own site. For a rooftop on the seventeenth floor of a Renzo Piano building, that is a remarkable amount of nothing, and it is why people turn up unsure whether they will be let in.
The booking platforms fill some of the gap. OpenTable lists the restaurant as midday to midnight on Monday to Wednesday and Sunday, and midday to 1.30am from Thursday to Saturday, with a smart casual dress code. Those are the numbers to plan around, with the caveat that they come from the booking platform rather than the venue.
We read the venue’s own pages on 11 October 2026.
Golden Hour: daily or three days?
The venue’s Sky Bar page says Golden Hour cocktails, two for one as the sun sets, run Monday to Wednesday. Press coverage and listings describe the same offer as daily. The venue’s own page is the one to trust, which means the two-for-one is a start-of-week offer rather than a weekend one. No start or end time is published for it either, so it moves with sunset.
Where it actually is
Levels 17 and 18 of 1 Paddington Square, W2 1DL, reached by a private external glass lift on the outside of the building. Not Bishopsgate, and not the City: this is Paddington, above the station.
Level 17 holds the restaurant and the bar, arranged around an open central bar. Level 18 has a lounge bar and a private dining room for up to 14. The food is modern Asian built for sharing, with miso seabass and lobster noodles as the signature dishes.
Lunch and brunch
A set lunch runs Monday to Friday, and Sky High Brunch runs every Saturday with 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks. Neither price is published on the website: both menus sit behind PDF links, and the brunch is listed as a winter menu, so expect it to change with the season. The phone number is 020 4630 7888 if you need a figure before booking.
What to check before you go
Three things are worth a call rather than a guess: whether under-18s are admitted at the hour you are coming, what the dress code actually is on a Friday night, and what happens to your deposit if you cancel. None of the three is published, and all three vary between the restaurant, the bar and the private spaces at venues of this kind.
